“Dry Skin” Eczema Pattern?
10 Tips that I give to every “dry-skin” eczema patients:
Eat dark leafy greens, black sesame, and red dates — in TCM, these are the foundational Blood builders. They nourish Liver Blood and replenish what chronic inflammation has depleted.
Add pears, blueberries, and watermelon — they moisten and hydrate the skin at a deeper level.
Moisturize with lotion and oil immediately after every shower — seal before the moisture escapes.
Sleep before 11 — Blood rebuilds during deep sleep. Miss it and your skin pays.
Stop over-exfoliating and over-washing — a deficient system cannot afford more loss.
Sip bone broth and slow-cooked stews — they rebuild Yin and replenish what dryness has stripped. Topicals cannot reach where this depletion lives.
Wash with lukewarm or cool water, never hot — heat strips Yin faster than any moisturizer can replace it.
Cut caffeine, alcohol, and excess spice — they generate internal Heat and drain the Yin your skin needs to stay supple.

Wear organic cotton, silk, and loose layers — synthetic fabrics and tight clothing trap heat and friction. Dry skin needs space to breathe while it rebuilds.
